It involves a triazole compound.  The client process involved conversion of an iodide compound into acetate salt using complicated oxidation using hydrogen peroxide and extraction of the iodine liberated.  The process was dangerous and used toxic materials.  We needed to make multi-kilo quantities, and we came up with a simpler process.  We used salt precipitation method.  We used Cesium acetate and exchanged the iodide to cesium iodide which was precipitated.  The desired product was in solution.  This way we were able to supply the client with a good quality product in a safe and efficient way.
